Our tree scoops are a manual style, which means you will dig around the tree multiple times before scooping it out. It does takes weight to dig in the ground, so we recommend using skid steer rated for 2,500lbs and up for our 4 ft model. Some people ask what size of tree you can dig with these, and it really depends on the species of tree. Our 4 ft model, will create a 3-4ft root ball. So if you know the approximate size of the tree’s root system, you should be able to base it off that.
